Outside of his day job, Zia Zaman has a passion for travel. It's been said that a third of the enjoyment of travel comes from the preparation, a third from the actual, and a third from the recollection. This travel narrative is an attempt to explore the final third.
Zia's writing has appeared in various local press, Chance, Quarterly Literary Review of Singapore, Rivative, Undershorts (print & webzine), Cherrybleeds, Novelists Abroad, Seeker, Hackwriters, and other litzines.
In 2003, Zia had his first book published, Losing Oneself in Remote Asia.
